Girls Hand Drumming with Liz Osawamick
The Akwe:go and Wasa-Nabin girls/young women will be birthing their drums and wish to welcome young women to join us to learn songs and the traditions associated with Women's Hand Drumming. The Nogojiwanong Friendship Centre will be hosting bi-weekly Boys Drumming, starting on Wednesday, May 4th - then every other Wednesday evening thereafter. We welcome boys/young men to gather with us and learn about the Big Drum with our local Elders.
