Loveables Girls Group (Akwe:go)

The “LOVEABLES” Girls Group is a group for girls ages 7 to 12. This group is designed as a safe place to meet and discuss social issues that pertain to Aboriginal Girls growing up in a highly modern and visual society. This group will address the following issues: Self-esteem, development, confidence.
development, friendship development, positive attitude development,
healthy body image development, media awareness, positive decision
making, healthy relationships, safety, decision making and goal setting. We always share a meal, have a workshop and have little fun while we’re at it!!!
